The campaign messages focus on simple yet effective actions to do around the home to help reduce individual runoff.  These are called Best Management Practices or BMPs.
More pollutant specific efforts are designed to reach polluters through a variety of outlets to ensure exposure and increase behavior change.  Within this integrated outreach program, each outreach activity, e.g. storm drain stenciling, Adopt-A-Stream and Adopt-A-Block educational cleanups, industrial surveys, and enforcement actions supports the other – building a web of public education reaching target audiences with pollution prevention actions, based on their interest level, that will help protect area waters for life.
